Laurie Hammond

Founder / Director

Laurie is a founder and director of Timsco Pty Ltd, which has operated inQbator at Varsity Lakes on the central Gold Coast since 2000. He is also a founder and director of iQ Capital Management Pty Ltd, which was established in 2007 to manage funds under the iQ Funds brand.

Rick Anstey

Founder / Director

Rick is a founder and director of Timsco Pty Ltd, which has operated inQbator at Varsity Lakes on the central Gold Coast since 2000. He is also a founder and director of iQ Capital Management Pty Ltd, which was established in 2007 to manage funds under the iQ Funds brand. A related corporate advisory and investment banking firm, interFinancialVentures Pty Ltd was also co-founded in 2007, of which Rick is a director.

Marilyn Sorbello

Associate Director

Marilyn joined inQbator in 2005, with responsibility for the management of portfolio services. Her role includes the administration of the investment process, from deal flow through evaluation to investment documentation; providing support to portfolio companies; and participating in a regular review of the investment portfolio.

Andrea Wenborn

Financial Administrator

Andrea has overall responsibility for accounting and financial reporting and operation of administration processes of inQbator and iQ Capital Management. She also provides accounting and compliance support to a number of the investee companies in iQ Fund 1.

Sarah Sullivan

Office Manager

Sarah is the newest member of the inQbator and iQ Capital Management team. She has worked in public administration for just under 10 years, mostly with the NSW Government in Sydney and northern New South Wales.
